Buyer (m/f/d) - Aviation

We are currently looking for a Buyer (m/f/d) for a renowned major customer from the aviation industry (airline) in Frankfurt on a temporary basis. As a Buyer (m/f/d) you will play a central role in ensuring the availability of materials for the cabin equipment of an airline. With structured thinking and strong organizational skills, you will contribute to the efficient coordination and procurement of aircraft-related cabin material.

Tasks:

• Identify, validate and prioritize requirements
• Obtaining quotations from suppliers and placing orders
• Track orders through to goods receipt and take action if necessary
• Communication with international suppliers
• Coordinate and process requests from areas such as maintenance, engineering and logistics
• Organize the transfer of materials between the main warehouses in Frankfurt and Munich
• Support for repair management by forwarding repairable material accordingly
• Taking on further tasks within the team

Qualification:​

• Degree in economics or a comparable course of study
• Alternatively: Successfully completed commercial training with several years of professional experience (at least 3 years) in purchasing or materials management
• Ideally experience in purchasing and/or materials management
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills
• Solution-oriented and structured way of working
• Confident appearance as well as persuasiveness and assertiveness
• Enjoy working in a team
• Organizational strength and decision-making ability
• High flexibility, initiative and ability to work under pressure
