For our assignments in power plant and industrial plant construction, we are looking for committed Welder - MAG / Steel fabricator (m/f/d)) within the framework of temporary employment in Neukieritzsch.

Tasks:

  • Carrying out welding work in accordance with WPS using the MAG, TIG and E-hand methods (135, 141, 111)
  • Production and repair of assemblies made of steel, special materials and high-alloy materials
  • Working according to technical drawings, isometric drawings and welding plans
  • Preparation, control and implementation of post-heating treatment and pre-heating
  • Handling of welding equipment including correct connection of the return line and selection of suitable torches and nozzles
  • Monitoring the gas supply and quality as well as the additives used
  • Testing and inspection of weld seams, identification and correction of irregularities
  • Compliance with all safety and HSEQ requirements in an industrial environment

Requirements:

  • Completed training in a metalworking profession (e.g. steelworker, plant mechanic, welder)
  • Valid welder's qualification tests according to DIN EN 287-1 or DIN EN ISO 9606 Part 1-5
  • Valid tests for special materials such as P91, X20, Avesta, nickel, titanium, etc.
  • Test acceptance by TÜV, DVS training institute or equivalent body required
  • Several years of experience in apparatus, pipeline or steel construction, ideally in power plant or chemical plant construction
  • Knowledge of materials science, heat treatment, welding consumables and fixture technology
  • Familiarity with process engineering and welding sequences
  • Careful joint preparation and compliance with welding parameters
  • Safety awareness (PPE, flue gas monitoring, fire hazards, etc.)
  • Valid SHE training (SCC), occupational health and safety pass
  • Willingness to travel and flexible deployment in nationwide assembly operations
