Plant mechanic - supply engineering (pipe fitter)

For our assignments in power plant and industrial plant construction, we are looking for committed Plant mechanic (m/f/d) within the framework of temporary employment in Leuna.

Tasks:

• Assembly of pipelines, pipe fittings and assemblies according to drawings and isometric representations
• Weld seam preparation as well as burning, cutting and bending work (cold and hot)
• Installation of elbows, T-pieces, branches and production of reducers, necks and special parts
• Assembly of detachable (flanges, sockets) and non-detachable pipe connections
• Carrying out pressure and leak tests as well as flushing processes in preparation for commissioning
• Application of technical documents, conversion of dimensions (inch/metric), calculation of overall length and determination of room diagonals
• Professional mounting and support of pipes during installation
• Compliance with all HSEQ requirements in accordance with the SEAMO standard and SCC regulations

Requirements:​

• Completed vocational training in a metalworking profession, e.g. plant mechanic, industrial mechanic or pipe fitter
• Several years of experience in pipeline construction, ideally in the power plant and industrial sector
• Confident handling of piping diagrams, isometric drawings and technical drawings
• Basic knowledge of welding technology, heat treatment and materials science desirable
• Knowledge of thread cutting machines and pipe pressing processes is an advantage
