We are currently looking for Calculation Engineers (m/f/d) Steel Construction for a renowned industrial service provider in the petrochemical, chemical, pharmaceutical and oil sectors.

Tasks:

• They carry out technical calculations for pressure equipment, mainly in accordance with the provisions of the Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU.
• Her main tasks are strength calculations for tanks and pipelines, flange calculations and flexibility analyses of piping systems. This also includes the optimization of support concepts and component connection loads for pipelines in coordination with the relevant specialist department.
• Pressure loss calculations for piping systems and the preparation of static verifications for supporting structures are also part of your work.
• You evaluate and document your calculation results and create documentation for the customer and the notified body.
• You coordinate the calculations to be carried out with the departments involved (internally) as well as with customers and notified bodies (e.g. TÜV).

Requirements:​

• You have successfully completed an engineering degree.
• You have several years of relevant experience with regard to strength calculation (dimensioning) in pressure equipment construction.
• You have several years of experience in carrying out flexibility analyses for piping systems and are confident in the use of common calculation software (preferably ROHR2).
• They have basic knowledge in the application of the finite element method for tasks in structural mechanics.
• You have a sound knowledge of the regulations, preferably DIN EN 13480, DIN EN 13445, AD 2000, DIN EN 1591, ASME B31.1 & B31.3
• You have a good command of German and English.
• You have an independent and structured way of working and enjoy working in a team
