Specialist Buyer for IT (m/f/d) - Procurement, Claim and Mobility

We are currently looking for committed specialist buyers (m/f/d) for the Procurement, Claim and Mobility department as part of a temporary employment contract for our major customers in the aviation industry in Frankfurt.

Tasks:

• Execution of procurement processes with a low to medium degree of difficulty, taking into account legal requirements, internal guidelines and regulations.
• Obtaining and checking offers and preparing a commercial evaluation of the offers.
• Support in the organization, planning and implementation of procurement processes in compliance with legal requirements, internal guidelines and regulations.
• Monitoring quantity and price variances and ensuring regular order monitoring, tracking delivery dates and checking invoices.
• Collaboration in the development of product group strategies and coordination of procurement strategies as well as determination of procurement tactics.
• Advice on the preparation of service specifications with regard to award and contract issues as well as coordination with internal customers and process participants and review of service specifications.
• Monitoring of orders and contact persons during the term of the contract, in particular in the event of contract disruptions.
• Analyzing the relevant procurement market and ensuring supplier management.
• Ensure structured documentation of procurement processes.
• Identification and implementation of optimization and automation potential.
• Realization of savings and standardization potential in the area of responsibility.

Qualification:​

• Completed studies or completed commercial vocational training, supplemented by further specialist training in purchasing is an advantage
• Experience in contract management and negotiation
• Preferably experience in purchasing IT, vehicles and services
• Sound business management knowledge
• Confident handling of MS Office and SAP
• Excellent communication skills and good command of written and spoken English
• Entrepreneurial thinking and action
