SEAMO stands for Safe, Electrified & Autonomous Mobility and is a development service provider for engineering and IT. Our aim is to build a bridge into these advanced technologies for our customers.
We are currently looking for an engineer/designer (m/f/d) in the field of steel construction for a renowned industrial service provider in the petrochemical, chemical, pharmaceutical and oil sectors.
Tasks:
- You work on complex construction projects in the tender and execution phase
- They support the installation planning with regard to buildings, stage and pipe bridge planning.
- You draw up the request specifications for the suppliers and provide support in evaluating offers.
- You have experience in 3D modeling with e.g. Tekla/Trimble (basic and detail engineering) as well as with 2D CAD systems (e.g. AutoCAD).
- You create overview drawings and check engineering documents.
- You work out design specifications for the execution and provide construction site support, if necessary on site.
- You will be involved in the awarding of contracts and supervise the subcontractors carrying out the construction work.
- You support project management in monitoring deadlines.
Requirements:
- You have successfully completed a degree in civil engineering/structural engineering.
- You have several years of experience in steel construction, ideally in connection with industrial pipeline construction or plant engineering.
- You have knowledge of design and CAD as well as the basics of statics
- You have knowledge of current regulations, preferably DIN EN 1993.
- You have a good command of German and English (at least B2 level).
- You work confidently with Microsoft Office.
- You have a reliable and structured way of working, a high understanding of quality and work with commitment and assertiveness.
