Strategic Buyer (m/f/d) - Airline / Aviation

We are currently looking for a Strategic Buyer (m/f/d) for a renowned major client from the aviation industry (airline) in Munich on a temporary basis. As a Strategic Buyer (m/f/d) you will play a central role in the strategic procurement of high-quality and complex materials and services. With analytical thinking, market understanding and negotiating skills, you will make an active contribution to cost optimization and the further development of professional purchasing processes.

Tasks:

• Analysis of potential savings in demanding procurement projects
• Development and implementation of strategic purchasing and product group strategies
• Selection, evaluation and negotiation with capable suppliers
• Drafting and conclusion of framework and individual contracts
• Cooperation with internal departments for needs-based procurement
• Application of digital tools and methods for process optimization and automation
• Ensuring cost control and transparency in the purchasing process
• Collaboration in overarching procurement teams and special projects

Qualification:​

• Completed commercial or technical training or a corresponding course of study
• Professional experience in purchasing, scheduling or logistics
• Ideally knowledge of the AMOS software
• Good understanding of commercial contexts and strong cost awareness
• Desirable: Knowledge in the areas of commercial and controlling
• Confident use of the English language
• Independent and structured way of working as well as team and communication skills
